# Implant Catalogue

> Browsing, filtering, and previewing implants from multiple manufacturers.

## Implant Catalogue

The implant catalogue contains a structured database of orthopaedic implants from multiple manufacturers. Use it to browse available implants, inspect 3D models, and select implants for your surgical plans.

## Browsing Implants

Navigate to **Catalogues > Implants** from the sidebar. The catalogue displays implants in a searchable, filterable grid.

Each implant card shows:

* Product name and manufacturer
* Product image or 3D thumbnail
* Available sizes
* Procedure type tags (e.g., ACL, Rotator Cuff)

## Filtering

Use the filter controls at the top of the catalogue to narrow results:

| Filter             | Options                                                                                            |
| ------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Manufacturer** | All supported manufacturers (e.g., Arthrex, Smith+Nephew, Stryker, Zimmer Biomet, Conmed, Medacta) |
| **Category** | Interference Screws, Suture Anchors, Cortical Buttons, Fixation Devices |
| **Procedure Type** | ACL Reconstruction, MPFL Reconstruction, Rotator Cuff Repair, etc. |
| **Material** | PEEK, Titanium, Biocomposite, Bioabsorbable |

Filters can be combined. Active filters are shown as tags below the filter bar — click the **x** on a tag to remove it.

## Preferred Brands

If you have configured preferred brands in [Preferences](/settings/preferences), those manufacturers are highlighted and appear first in the catalogue. A star icon indicates a preferred brand.

<Tip>
  Setting preferred brands does not hide other manufacturers. It simply prioritises your most-used brands at the top of the list.
</Tip>

## 3D Model Preview

Click any implant card to open its detail view. If a 3D model is available, an interactive preview is displayed:

* **Orbit** — left-click drag to rotate the model
* **Zoom** — scroll wheel to zoom in/out
* **Pan** — right-click drag to reposition

The detail view also shows full specifications: dimensions for each size, material, and compatibility notes.

## Procedure Type Tags

Each implant is tagged with the procedures it is designed for. These tags are used by the planner to filter implant suggestions based on the case's procedure type.

<Note>
  The implant catalogue is manufacturer-agnostic. NavNX supports implants from any manufacturer — it is not limited to OrthoNX products.
