# Organisation

> Managing your organisation's name, timezone, and country settings.

## Organisation Settings

Navigate to **Settings > Organisation** to view and manage your organisation's details. Only users with the **Surgeon** role can edit organisation settings.

## Organisation Details

| Field                 | Description                                                                                               |
| --------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Organisation name** | The name of your practice, clinic, or hospital. Displayed on reports and in the team directory.           |
| **Timezone**          | The timezone used for displaying dates and times throughout NavNX (e.g., surgery dates, note timestamps). |
| **Country**           | The country where your organisation is based. This determines your data residency region.                 |

## Editing Organisation Details

  The country setting determines the data residency region for your organisation's data. Changing this setting does not migrate existing data — contact support if you need to change your data residency region.

## Organisation ID

Your organisation ID is displayed at the bottom of the settings page. This is a system-generated identifier used for support requests and API integrations. It cannot be changed.

  Timezone changes affect how dates are displayed for all team members in the organisation. Coordinate with your team before making changes.
