Case Detail

The case detail page is the central hub for a surgical case. It displays all information about the case and provides access to the planner, reports, and exports.

Info Cards

The top section shows key case information at a glance:
  • Patient — name, MRN, date of birth
  • Procedure — type, operative side (Left/Right)
  • Status — current case status (see Case Status)
  • Planned Date — the scheduled surgery date

Plan Summary

If a surgical plan has been created, the plan summary section displays:
  • Tunnel parameters (position, angle, diameter, depth)
  • Selected implant name and size
  • Graft configuration (if applicable)
  • Key measurements
This provides a quick reference without opening the full planner.

DICOM Section

The DICOM section shows the imaging data associated with the case:
  • Upload status — whether DICOM files have been uploaded
  • Series list — available imaging series (e.g., CT Axial, MRI Sagittal)
  • Thumbnail preview — a representative slice from each series
Click Upload DICOM to add imaging data, or click a series to open it in the planner. The DICOM card also provides:
  • Imaging referral… — generate a pre-filled imaging referral form for your radiologist. The form auto-populates patient details, clinical indication, and MRI/CT acquisition protocol requirements. Edit any field before downloading as a PDF.
  • MRI acquisition protocol for radiologists — download a 2-page PDF specifying the required MRI acquisition parameters (3D DESS sequence, ≤1mm slices, vendor-specific settings for Siemens/GE/Philips).

Notes

The notes section displays all case notes with timestamps and author attribution. See Case Notes for details.

Action Buttons

Deleting a Case

Cases in Draft or Cancelled status can be permanently deleted. From the case detail page, click the Delete case button and confirm. Deleting a case removes:
  • The surgical plan and case details
  • All DICOM imaging files stored in the cloud
  • Segmentation meshes and AI-generated data
  • Associated notifications and audit log entries
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All uploaded DICOM files and generated data for this case will be removed.
The OR HUD presents the surgical plan in a simplified, high-contrast view designed for display on monitors in the operating theatre.
